Hi from NYC!
« on: June 29, 2016, 08:08:06 AM »
Hi everyone! My name is Joe and I'm new to home recording. I have a lot to learn, but I hope this community will answer my questions. A little about me: I live in Staten Island, I'm a 35year old Correction Officer with a wife and small children. So, unfortunately, my time is very limited, but I love music and try to do it as much as possible. I've been playing guitar for 20 years and it is my primary instrument. My Gear: Gibson Les Paul standard, mex fender strat, schecter c1 Classic (workhorse), DBZ Barchetta eminent, Ibanez montage acoustic, Ibanez sr405 bass. Apple Mac mini, Scarlett 2i4, Alesis v49 midi controller, jbl 305 monitors, cubase artist 8.5, superior drummer, amplitube, guitar rig4/5, trigger finger, and an sm57 and 58. Is this gear good enough to make a professional recording? I look forward to your comments!

You can record at home... but pay for mixing at a studio
